Have your worries about new LEED AP/Associate system been keeping you up at night, as you ponder their effect on your certification? Or have mental hurdles been preventing you from taking the exam at all? Whatever the case, this informational session can help you with your issues.
As you may know, there are a new set of LEED credentials now available: the LEED AP “with specialty” and the LEED Green Associate. For a limited time, “old” LEED APs have the option to “opt in” to get the new LEED AP credential for free and without retesting, but will have to fulfill continuing education requirements. This session will discuss:
- An overview of the new LEED AP/Green Associate system
- What credential is right for you — if, how and when to opt in
- How to get your continuing education hours
This presentation is very strongly recommended for all current LEED APs and Green Associates — it is so important that we are offering a primary session on June 1 (Marketing Lab at 901 Market), and a make-up session on June 23 (at Mission Bay) — both sessions will be held from 12-1 pm Pacific time and will available at all A+A locations via Go-To Meeting. The June 1 session will be especially useful for LEED APs who want to use Eco Month events for continuing education credit.
You should also attend this session if you are a LEED Green Associate, or are you considering becoming either a LEED Green Associate and/or LEED AP with specialty. The LEED Green Associate is a new credential oriented toward less technical staff (e.g. marketing, admin).
